About Me

Had an interest in King Richard for many years.   Never, ever thought he would be found and used to dream about what would happen if he ever was.  Needless to say my dream ALWAYS ended with the most magnificent re-interment at York Minster.  Had the whole day and service planned out in my head, right down to the music that would be played.  Been to Leicester and Bosworth several times, though I only felt sadness at the thought of his final days and moments, but I went as I felt I had to be at the place where he fell.  I have studied and researched the fifteenth century and really love the period, and the people, not just the Kings and Queens.  I just want Richard to be given the respect due to an anointed King of England, and I believe implicitly that each of us feel the same way.

About Me

Have been with Richard since I was 11 years old and very proud of the fact.

My favourite place is Middleham Castle, feels like home.

Now retired spent most of my life as an aircraft fitter for Hawker Siddley Aviation/Brit Aerospace.

Proud to be a Yorkshire lass but have lived in Cambridge, St Albans, Old Welwyn herts and Felixstowe Suffolk. Had the sense to come back home thank God.

Richard should be brought home to Yorkshire the place he loved and spent half his life in, the place he was most appreciated.

Graduated from Leicester University in 1982 where my fascination for Richard lll started. I had no idea he was under the car park! I firmly believe he should be returned to York.

About Me

A member of the Society for over 40 years, an active London Branch member and also a member of the Yorkshire Branch.

I wish the LFR team all the luck in the world with whatever lies ahead. I am dismayed by the actions of Leicester University, the Leicester Cathedral proposed tomb design and use of a horrid ossuary.

I hope with all my heart that Richard's remains will soon be placed in a prayerful environment to salute his Catholic faith, eventually to be reburied in a place where he would wish to lie.
